Ida and David first met in high school math class, but it was not until the COVID lockdowns, ten years later, that they reconnected. Unbeknownst to them, their first date of sushi-making at home in New York City would launch them into a relationship full of adventure and surprises.
Since then, Ida and David have built a life rooted in shared curiosity and a love of being together. They spend their days traveling, skiing, boating, and seeking out great food and wine, whether at home in the city or out east. At the center of it all are their two rescue dogs, Charlie and Gregory, who join them whenever possible.
David asked Ida to marry him in Normandy, in a wildflower meadow with Mont-Saint-Michel in the distance. It was a moment that felt both extraordinary and entirely their own.
